A chef and restaurant owner will appear on an ABC program.

BRISTOL, CT — A Bristol chef and restaurant owner is slated to appear on the ABC program "Good Morning America" Thursday Nov. 7, according to The Hartford Courant. John "J.R." Rusgrove and his wife, Leanne, own The Parkside Café and Main Street Pint & Plate.

Rusgrove will be with three other chef's on the morning program's cooking segment, "MVP Your Meal." The segment is schedule for 8 a.m.

He was chosen thanks to the couple's friendship with anchor Robin Roberts, who owns a home in Farmington, The Courant reported.
