FMSC Tea Event a Success

Tea Event a success

The Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) Berlin committee recently held their “Annual Tea Party” event on February 10, 2018. The event was a success raising around $2,000 to support their upcoming mobile pack event in fall, 2018. Bigelow Tea was the sponsor of the tea event providing all guests with a variety of teas to try that afternoon along with gift bags of tea. Bigelow representative, Betty Johnson, attended the event to speak to guests about the history of tea and the health benefits of drinking tea on a daily basis. FMSC was honored to have special guest Kaitlyn McGrath, from NBC 30 News. Kaitlyn was a part of the event as well as the auctioneer of the silent auction.

FMSC also had many local businesses support the event such as Image Ink and DGS Photography, both donating their services that afternoon. The silent auction included many local businesses in and around Berlin such as Adelbrook Barkery, Avenue Rest, Baci Grill, Beautiful People Salon & Day Spa, Chalk Talk by Suzie Starr, Firestone Auto Care, Harbor Freight Tools, Infinity Spirits, Joy Cleaners & Tailor, Laser Quest, Pedal Power, Pep Boys, Pet Sense Pet Store, Plaza Azteca Rest, Riverdale Cleaners & Tracy & Company.

This event was a success due to all the local businesses in donating services and/or products to the event. FMSC thanks all who donated gifts or services.
