Former Redcoat Kaitlyn Bovee Player of the Week

Roger Williams junior named Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the Week.

 

Roger Williams University Women's Basketball junior forward Kaitlyn Bovee of Berlin, has been named Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the Week after a strong performance in the Hawks' three wins on the week.

Bovee averaged 19 points and nine rebounds, as the Hawks went 3-0 in conference action. In a 72-54 win over Curry, Bovee earned a double-double recording 15 points and 11 rebounds, while also earning two assists and one block.

She then went on to record another double-double in a 69-41 victory over Gordon, where she tied her career high of 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while earning three steals.

Bovee ended the week with 16 points, six rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block in Roger Williams' 62-49 win over Wentworth. Impressively, Bovee only recorded two turnovers in 80 minutes of play.
