Former Speaker Of The House Hired By New Britain Firm

NEW BRITAIN, CT — It is with great pleasure that we announce that former State Representative Joseph Aresimowicz will join the government relations firm of Gaffney Bennett and Associates effective Jan. 15, according to a statement.

Aresimowicz chose not to run for reelection last fall and recently finished his service in the Connecticut General Assembly, where he held the position of Speaker of the House for the past 4 years.

"In bringing Joe into the firm, we hope to continue the tradition at GBA to enlist hard working professionals with experience and integrity to bring to bear on public policy challenges on behalf of our clients," a statement reads.

Aresimowicz will initially focus on business development and municipal and federal issues on behalf of the firm's clients.
