Good News Berlin: Our Innocent Berlin Youths Participate in Winter Concerts

Nothing picks up the spirits like a festive song and all of the Berlin schools sponsored winter concerts.

When things are at their worst, songs and music is often turned to for lifting spirits and at this tough time in our state history that has remained to be true.

All of the schools in Berlin recently held winter concerts. The concerts did a number of things for the people in attendance. First it gave the parents more time to see their children in an ideal setting. Next it allowed the school communities to find some sort of normal. And third, there were some silly songs sung which lifted the spirits of all of those in attendance.

The concert footage here is from Hubbard Elementary School. It features two selections. The first "Hot Chocolate" is a funny and well-acted song about that yummy treat. The second, "One candle, one flame" is a more serious song about the meaning and spirituality of Christmas.

Take a look at the video for a bit. Don't leave it until at least halfway through the first song, where you will get some comic relief.
