Injured Patient Extricated From Woods In Berlin

Emergency crews responded to the call Sunday.

BERLIN, CT — Emergency crews extricated a patient from the woods Sunday, according to Berlin fire officials. The call came in for an injured person on Summitwood Drive.

The fire department's off-road vehicles, Hunters ambulance, and Berlin police responded to the call. A Lifestar medical helicopter was requested for the patient.

Other companies in town also handled a grill fire with extension to a deck on Bishops Curve, according to fire officials.
