Jake Harris Wins Berlin Fair Cover Contest
His design will be on the front cover of the Lions' Premium Book.

Berlin High School student Jake Harris, son of Mark and Jen Harris, won the Berlin Fair Premium Book contest at last year's Berlin Fair and his work appears on the cover this year.
Harris' winning design captures the agricultural origins of the Berlin Fair. The entries were separately judged and Harris won a $100 prize.

According to the Lions, the winning entry should be "A theme that is consistent with the tradition of the Berlin Fair which revolves around agriculture, horticulture, crafts, entertainment, shows, food, children and the family unit."
The artwork has to be black and white only and should be predominantly a black image on a white background.

The cover text (for example, Berlin Fair, date, sponsorship, logo) will be laid out and supplied by the printer. Artwork should allow for these elements to be put in and artists should sign their work.
The winning design of this year's Berlin Fair contest will appear on the cover of next year’s Berlin Fair Premium Book and on the fair's web site.Â
The Berlin Fair runs from Friday, Oct. 5 through Sunday, Oct. 7. Entries in all categories will be accepted Thursday at the Fairgrounds.
