Kensington Auto Expands Its Services

Lenny Tubbs established Kensington Auto Service 29 years ago and has been in his current location on Harding Street for over six years now. In that time he has offered affordable and expert car care.

Tubbs decided to update a building he had on his property and expand his business. It opened two weeks ago and while it is still under the Kensington Auto Service umbrella, is is quite different.

The back building at Kensington Auto will offer custom detailing, ties and custom wheels, all truck, van and auto accessories, bed liners, running boards and truck racks as well as just about any other kind if car, auto or van accessory an owner can think of.

"We have only been open for two weeks and it is a soft opening because we wanted to be ready but we are getting calls every day because we are on the vendors websites as a place to get their products," Tubbs said. "We will come up with a name to make this separate from Kensington Auto at some point but we're not there yet."
