Tax Aide: Tuesdays from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
AARP Tax-Aide, a free program, provides income tax preparation assistance for low and middle-income taxpayers of all ages, with special attention to those 60 and older. Contact the reference desk to make an appointment: 860-828-7125.

Library Leprechaun Treasure Hunt Saturday, March 16:
Drop in any time between 1 and 3 p.m.; all ages The Library Leprechaun’s hidden clovers lead to a golden prize at the end of the rainbow!

Sit and Knit: March 21 at 6 p.m.
Would you like to meet some new people and sit and knit?  Join leader Gina Kahn for a relaxing knitting session. No registration necessary. All levels welcome.

Tails of Joy: Read-to-Me Dogs: Saturday, March 30: 10:30 to noon; grades 1 to 5. Children enjoy one-on-one reading time with a specially-trained dog. Registration begins 3/18

Join David Koch, Assistant Professor of History at Housatonic Community College, for an informational discussion on the Battle of Gettysburg, covering the armies and leaders of the war, as well as weapons and tactics. Please contact the library to reserve a seat.
