Mayer Family Donates To The Hospital of Central Connecticut
Proceeds from Berlin VFW Scalise-Mayer Memorial Golf Tournment goes to hospital and local scholarships.

Berlin Patch Local Editor Bob Mayer presents a check to Andrea Fiori Brandl, of the Dialysis Dept. at The Hospital of Central Connecticut on behalf of the Mayer family.
The check is part of the proceeds from the Berlin VFW Scalise-Mayer Memorial Golf Tournament held the second Wednesday in August each year. The tournament donates to the Berlin VFW, local scholarships in the name of the Mayer family and the late William B. Scalise and The Hospital of Central Connecticut.

The late William Mayer Sr. had kidney disease and the Mayer family has donated more than $60,000 in the last 10 years to THOCC Dialysis Dept.
