Mickey Finns Came Through For Operation Snuggle Newtown

Mickey Finns agreed to be a drop off spot for Operation Snuggle Newtown, a drive by Patch to get teddy bears and stuffed animals to distribute in Newtown.

When the bears did not start flowing in Monday, some of the employees decided to buy some bears themselves and get things going.

One of the employee's son, Matt Bump, decided to take things further.

Bump, a student at Greater Hartford Arts Academy, urged his classmates to forgo lunch and donate the money instead to him so he could buy bears for Operation Snuggle Newtown.

Most of his classmates went along with Matt and with the money he was able to buy dozens of bears. As a result, between Mickey Finns, Dirty Dog and Good Cause Gifts donated 103 stuffed animals to Operation Snuggle Newtown.
