New Britain Man Sentenced For Dealing Crack, Fentanyl: Feds

Jordan Flythe will serve 3 years in federal prison on drug dealing charges.

NEW BRITAIN, CT — A New Britain man was sentenced to 3 years in federal prison on charges that he sold fentanyl and crack, according to a statement from Leonard C Boyle, Acting United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut. Jordan Flythe, aka "T," 28, will also serve 3 years of supervised release.

According to prosecutors, local and federal police identified Flythe as a drug dealer who supplied various gang members in Hartford's South End. After investigators completed a controlled purchase of 6 grams of crack cocaine from Flythe for $300 in February 2020, police stopped Flythe's car and arrested him on state drug charges.

Police then searched Flythe and his car and found about 20 grams of crack, a digital scale and $3,450 in cash, according to prosecutors.
