NEW BRITAIN, CT — The Clam Box, a seafood restaurant, celebrated its recent opening Thursday in the former home of West Side Tavern in New Britain, according to The Hartford Business Journal. The celebration included Mayor Erin Stewart, restaurateur Nicholas Augustino and other city and economic-development officials.
The restaurant opened in the spring and is based on the Wethersfield Clam Box location. The eatery is open Tuesdays through Sundays, 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, according to The Hartford Business Journal.
