Obituary: Lena Dechichio 94, Of Kensington

BERLIN, CT - Lena T. Dechichio 94, of Kensington passed away on Feb 21, 2019. Born in Yonkers N.Y. on 11/5/1924, wife of the late Daniel Dechichio and a daughter of the late Giovanni and Assunta (Tromboni) DeLorenzo.

She retired from Stanley Works in 1982 and was a member of the AARP and the Berlin Senior Citizens.

Lena is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-laws: Michael (Claudette) Dechichio of Willington and Daniel (Diana) Dechichio of Wesley Chapel FL, two sisters: Julia DeStasio of Kensington and Mary Criniti of Southington one brother: Joseph Tromboni of FL. One grandson Paul (Christine) of Rhode Island. She was predeceased by 2 Brothers: Louis and Mario Tromoni and a sister: Domenica Ginnetti.

Per her wishes, services will be private with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, New Britain. The Dechichio family would like to express our gratitude for the excellent care provided by Fox Hill Center in Vernon, CT
