Berlin Police Blotter: March 23-25

March 23

Kelly Bongoll, 19, 145 Harbor Pond Dr., Meriden; Disorderly conduct, Assault.

Laurie Bongoll, 20, 145 Harbor Pond Dr., Meriden; Disorderly conduct, Assault.

Kathy DaCosta, 47, 20 Hemlock Rd., Meriden; Disorderly conduct.

(DaCosta is the mother of the Bongoll sisters. All three were in a room at the Best Western, drinking alcohol and celebrating Laurie Bongoll's upcoming birthday. An argument/fight ensued between mother and daughters. DaCosta ended up with minor injuries and was transported to the Hospital of Central Connecticut. DaCosta was given a misdemeanor summons for Disorderly Conduct. The Bongoll sisters were arrested and charged with Assault Third Degree and Disorderly Conduct. They were released on $1,000 non-surety bonds. All were supposed to appear in court on March 25.)

March 25

Nelson Huertas-Rios, 26, 36 Homestead Ave., New Britain; Failure to appear.

Steve Cortes, 19, 68 Newton St., Meriden; Unlawful restraint, Disorderly conduct, Risk of injury/family violence related.
