Police ID Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Car On Route 9 In Berlin

BERLIN, CT — A Middletown woman has been identified as the pedestrian who was fatally struck by a car early Wednesday morning on Route 9 in Berlin. Marie Ahern, 54, of Middletown, was killed after being struck by a car on Route 9 South near Exit 23 in Berlin on Oct. 2, Connecticut State Police said Friday.

Police are continuing to investigate the accident, which occurred at about 5:15 a.m. on Oct. 2.
