Snow, Sleet, Rain, Warmer Temps, and a Potential Weekend Snowstorm All in Berlin’s Forecast
Mother Nature is throwing the kitchen sink at us this week with some snow, sleet, a big warm up and a possible weekend snowstorm all on tap.

This is definitely shaping up to be a very interesting weather week in Connecticut as we could see some snow and ice, followed by rain, 50 degree temps, and then a chance of a snowstorm next weekend.
There are definitely a lot of moving parts to this week’s weather forecast. The easy part of the forecast is that it will remain cold Monday with temps barely reaching the mid 20s. With cold temps in place, this sets the stage for some snow, sleet, and rain entering the picture around midday on Tuesday.
And then we get a break from the deep freeze we’ve been in with temps into the 50s later this week before snow may return Saturday night and into Sunday. The weather forecast is never boring in January in New England.

On Sunday NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan wrote, “Rain and milder temperatures are expected later this week. That said there is an intriguing setup developing for next weekend - cold high pressure overhead with moisture surging in from the south? Worth watching.”
