BERLIN, CT — A traffic stop led to the discovery of 37 pounds of marijuana and the arrest of three men Tuesday night in Berlin, according to Connecticut State Police. At around 6:30 p.m. May 12, police pulled over a vehicle on the Exit 22 on-ramp to Route 9 North in Berlin, officials said.

During a search of the vehicle, police found 37 pounds of suspected marijuana and all three occupants were arrested, according to officials.

Stevie J. Clark, 42, of New Britain; Nieson Homar, 40, of New Britain; and Luis J. Vallejo, 41, of Newington, were each charged with possession of a controlled substance or more than ½ ounce of cannabis and possession with the intent to sell.

All three were released after posting a $10,000 bond, however, Clark was remanded to the state Department of Corrections by parole officials, according to police.
