Tree on Wires Affects Traffic from Rocky Hill into Berlin

ROCKY HILL, CT ‒ New Britain Avenue near Cobey Road was shut down on Saturday because of a tree across power lines police until further notice, police said.

The tree was hanging on the power lines, pulling down wires, and hanging across the roadway and crews were in thew scene cleaning up the mess, police said.

Vehicular traffic was being diverted down Cobey Road when traveling West on New Britain Avenue from Rocky Hill.

Berlin Police will be assisting in their town for eastbound traffic.
