Venturing Crew coming to Berlin!

There is a Venturing crew looking for kids to recruit within the age of 14-21, but this of course doesn’t mean younger can’t come and see what venturing is about. There are a few Venturing crews spread, throughout the state of Connecticut, with most following a certain theme, and this Venturing Crew’s theme is High Adventure which, involves camping, Native American Craft, and canoeing to name just a few actives we will be doing. A Venturing is a form of scouting where both girls and boys can join, and stride for staying active..

In Berlin we have many fun activities to keep the kids active, but the Venturing crew we’re setting up will be doing camping and will make sure that the kids that join stay active as long as they want.We will not force any kids into doing certain camp out or activities, It’ll be a free place for the kids to meet up and join in on having fun. We will be hosting a open house on Wednesday, February 10th, and the YMCA in Berlin for 7:00 pm. We will meet every other Wednesday, at 7:00pm and it will end at 8:30 but you can leave before if you have to go. The crew will insure that the kids stay active and have fun while doing things they possibly never thought they’d be doing.
