BERLIN, CT — A Middletown woman was killed after being struck by a car on Route 9 early Wednesday morning in Berlin. Marie Ahern, 54, of Middletown, was identified by Connecticut State Police Friday as the pedestrian who was fatally struck on Route 9 South near Exit 23 in Berlin on Oct. 2.
NBC Connecticut reported that the woman died on her 54th birthday.
Police are continuing to investigate the accident, which occurred at about 5:15 a.m. on Oct. 2.
