Avon-Canton Rotary Club Presents Three With Awards
Ann Gagnon, Greg DeManche and Mary Lou Connors were awarded the Paul Harris Award for their service to the community.

Greg DeManche - received his Club Paul Harris Award which he actually earned sometime ago. This was a great opportunity to present him with his first Paul Harris pin and medallion. (Tom Voorhees presenting award to Greg DeManche)
Mary Lou Connors -began as a nurse at Saint Francis where her responsibilities evolved into the position of Pulmonary Therapy Rehab Coordinator. She is currently involved with teaching children who have medical needs, assisting newly-arrived political refugees, transporting local residents who don’t have cars and sustaining a ministry for inmates at Niantic State Prison. Upon receiving her Paul Harris Award, Mary Lou urged everyone to count their blessings, and she said to Club members “thank you for adding to my blessings.” (Left to Right: Tom Voorhees, Mary Lou Connors, Doctor Robert Connors and Joanne Santiago).
Ann Gagnon -is tremendously involved with Gifts for Canton, helping to give food and necessities for families throughout the year as well as providing gift cards to help Canton families buy Christmas presents. 250 to 500 residents are helped each year. Ann is an interior designer. She is a Past President of the Canton Chamber of Commerce and has received numerous awards from the Chamber. She is a member of the Sam Collins Day committee.
