Canton Cooling Centers Opened
The shelters will remain open through Saturday due to the high temperatures.
Due to the high temperatures that are forecast, the town of Canton has opened two cooling centers.
The Community Center will be open Wednesay through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The Canton Library will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The town cooling centers have water faucets, but residents are asked to bring their own food.
Please remember to bring medications, emergency contact phone numbers, and any other items you may need during the day. Service dogs are always welcome.
