How the Program Works: During the month of November/2019, the Department will receive a $1.00 donation for every reusable Community Bag purchased, for $2.50, at the Big Y located at 255 West Main St, Avon, CT. The Community Bags are located on displays around the store and at the checkout counter.
Once the Community Bag is purchased, the customer has 7 days to register the unique identifier - on the Giving Tag pinned to the Community Bag - online at bigy.bags4mycause.com. Once they register, they can designate the Department as beneficiary from a list of community organizations provided by Big Y.
