Marie (Hesse) Rusin, 78, of Canton, beloved wife of Albert R. “Sonny” Rusin, passed away peacefully Friday Feb 9th, 2018.
Born in Wethersfield on May 29th 1939, daughter of the late Leo T. and Anna (Mund) Hesse Sr. Prior to retiring Marie was a bookkeeper at Battiston Cleaners and she was a longtime communicant at St Patrick Church in Collinsville.
Besides her husband “Sonny”, Marie is survived by her daughter Linda R. Henne, granddaughter Nicole Goncalves and her husband Vinny, grandson Wesley Henne, her sisters Barbara Guglietta, Rita Rickis and her husband Thomas, and her brother Leo T Hesse Jr. and his wife Gail.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the Farmington Valley VNA Hospice, Simsbury, Dr. Ramkumar Sankaran Avon, and Avon Health Center Avon and also to Frank Ahern at the Ahern Funeral Home for his kindness and many years of friendship.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday (Feb 14th ) at 1:00 pm in St Patrick Church Collinsville. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Avon.
