Canton Produces Placewinner at State Open Track Meet

NEW HAVEN, CT — Canton High School produced an individual event placewinner at the State Open indoor track and field championships Saturday at the Floyd Little Athletic Center.

Julia Caputo finished sixth in the girls 3200 meter run.

Danbury edged Hall to capture the boys team championship, while Greenwich easily outdistanced Danbury to win the girls title.
