Former Canton Standout Elected to CT Field Hockey Hall of Fame
She and eight other individuals will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on Sunday, Sept. 16.

CANTON, CT — A former college field hockey standout from Canton will join eight other honorees as members of the Class of 2018 of the Connecticut Field Hockey Hall of Fame.
Sharon Eifes Lawrence, a 1992 Canton High School graduate, is being inducted as a college player. At Boston University, she tallied 14 career goals while a member of two conference championship teams, and earned a plethora of athletic and academic awards, including All-American honors, with the Terriers.
