With the land approved, and writer upon us, Friends of Canton Dog Park are working on fundraising - more than $25,000.00 raised on our way to the $40,000.00 goal (and threshold needed to begin construction), folks from Canton have responded enthusiastically to the idea of a dog park here in town. At Dogology's Dogtoberfest, at the Brewery Legitimus, Bertucci's, B. GOOD and Flatbread company fundraisers, canton residents have expressed eagerness to get our park up and running. Now a magical anonymous donor (potentially Santa but we can't prove it) is matching every dollar UP to $12,500.00!!! great holiday gift - sponsor a bench in honor of your buddy -human OR canine (or ursine if the mood strikes). And what you donate, SANTA will double!
And you can join us at Burgerfi in AVON on Thursday Dec 13 from 4-8 pm - just mention the dog park and a portion of the sale goes to the dog park piggy bank - where (you guessed it) Santa doubles it! It's a win -win situation -you fill your gullet with delicious burgers/onion rings/shakes, and we end up with some dog park dollars.
