Make-A-Wish® CT Hires New Wish Journey Coordinator

Make-A-Wish® CT is pleased to announce that Burlington resident Jessica Daniels is their new Wish Journey Coordinator

A newly-created position, Jessica Daniels is responsible for coordinating wish journey experiences and events to create meaningful long-term engagement with wish families before, during, and after the wish. She manages the Wish Alumni Program and will be creating a magical experience for wish families at the organization’s new Wishing Place.

“I am overjoyed to begin my journey with Make-A-Wish Connecticut working with our Wish Families and Alumni,” shares Daniels. “I cannot imagine a more magical place and role, and I am excited to contribute towards this new era in our Wishing Place.”

Prior to Make-A-Wish Connecticut, Daniels was with Make-A-Wish New Jersey, where she was responsible for assisting the Mission Delivery team with executing the goals and objectives of Wish Granting, Medical Outreach and Volunteer Program Services. She volunteered and coordinated the wishes of more than 50 children from New Jersey, Georgia, and Michigan.

Before her Make-A-Wish experiences, Daniels worked as the Executive Assistant to the CEO of Pineapple Co, the parent company to an experiential marketing agency, build and logistics shop, boutique brand agency and social impact agency in Manhattan. Her background originally is in the sport industry, where she worked with the Marketing teams for Kraft Sports Group in Foxborough, MA, and the New York Football Giants in East Rutherford, NJ.

Daniels earned her B.S. in Sport Management from Syracuse University, where she graduated with minors in Marketing and Economics. She also holds a Sport Management Certificate from Columbia University for the Sports Industry Essentials Program. Daniels currently lives in Burlington, CT.

Make-A-Wish® Connecticut creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
