Police Arrest Suspect In Canton Car Break-Ins

CANTON, CT — Several cars were broken into Thursday night in the area of Freedom Drive and Sweetheart Mountain Road, according to police. Police did arrest a suspect following investigation.

"As the investigation continues, the Canton Police Department wants to take this opportunity to remind Canton residents of the importance of not leaving valuable items in your cars and locking your car doors," police said in a statement. "Those simple steps go a long way in preventing you from becoming the next crime victim."
