SBM Charitable Foundation announces 2017 Canton scholarship recipients

The SBM Charitable Foundation (“SBMCF”) awarded one hundred thirty one (131) college scholarships totaling $225,025 at its Annual Scholarship Reception held June 20, 2017. Thirty (30) students are new award recipients, while one hundred and one (101) represent scholarship renewals, with thirteen (13) of the students attending Graduate School. Listed below are the names of the 2017 Canton scholarship recipients:

The SBM Scholarship Program began in 1996 and is available to students who will be attending accredited colleges and universities in Connecticut, and who also live in Hartford, Tolland, or Windham county. SBMCF Scholarships are renewable each year of a student's college career as long as they continue to meet the initial eligibility requirements. Between the years of 2004 and 2017, a total of $2,569,100 has been awarded to a total of 1356 scholars.
