“I am honored to have earned the endorsement of the National Federation of Independent Businesses Connecticut PAC. Locally owned, independent businesses are the backbone of our state and local economies. Knowing how important independent businesses are is just one of the reasons I began showcasing businesses in my Local Business Spotlight tour which highlighted various independent businesses throughout the district. I have continuously fought against tax increases and onerous legislative proposals that would negatively impact small businesses and I will continue to advocate for legislation that supports their continued growth and success” said Senator Witkos.

About the National Federation of Independent Businesses: NFIB is the leading small-business association in the nation with thousands of members in Connecticut representing a cross section of the state’s economy. NFIB is nonprofit, nonpartisan, and member driven. Since their founding in 1943, NFIB has been exclusively dedicated to small and independent businesses and remains so today.
