Two-Hour Delay at Canton Schools

Due to slippery road conditions there will be a 2-hour delay at Canton Public Schools, according to the District's Web site. 
There will also be no morning Pre-K and no morning Kindergarten. 

"Even though temperatures are above freezing, road conditions are extremely icy," Superintendent Kevin Case said. 

Today the National Weather Service is predicting:
Showers, mainly before 3pm. Areas of fog before 1pm. Temperature falling to around 37 by 5pm. South wind 7 to 11 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
