Laurel Lanes, one of the last duckpin bowling alleys remaining in the state, is up for sale. And the owners are looking for new people to take over the business.

The real estate listing for the business states: "Looking to be your own boss and have fun doing it? Here's the perfect opportunity! Well established twelve lane duckpin bowling alley with everything included for a turnkey operation! Nostalgic alley is equipped with original wood lanes where you come to enjoy a game of bowling or celebrate a birthday/special occasion or corporate events. The 266 Main St. location is on sale for $425,000. The 8,700-square-foot space was constructed in 1900, according to the real estate listing.

Current owners George Noel Jr. and Doug Hausch paid $350,000 for it in 2011, according to The Waterbury Republican-American. The bowling alley was previously owned by the late Angelo and Lucy DeSanti for more than 60 years.

The owners told The Republican-American that they're currently testing the market and no one has made an offer. They said the building is intended for bowling and that it would likely need to be demolished for any other use.
