3 Clinton Teens Charged In Theft Of Duck

Three 18-year-olds were charged in the theft of a pet duck.

CLINTON, CT — Three Clinton 18-year-olds are facing charges in relation to the theft of a White Pekin Duck from Grove Gardens, The New Haven Register reported. Chloe Anne Grimes, Emma Lehn, and Tatiana Carolyn Serrano are accused of taking the pet named Quackers on July 25, then going to a town beach to post selfies with duck.

They then took the duck to Heser's Pond on Airline Road and released it, according to The Register. The duck has not been found.

The three turned themselves in to police and were charged with sixth-degree larceny, third-degree criminal trespass, and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.
