The Adam Stanton House and General Store in Clinton has to opened it's doors this season to tour groups for the 2013 summer season. According to a press release from Rick Manley on June 7, the museum had been closed to the public for several years "in the midst of administrative uncertainly with regard to the trust fund established in 1918 by the late Lewis Stanton, which remains the museum's primary source of funding."

After the appointment of Essex Savings Bank as Successor Trustee, the Stanton House is once again prepared "to resume its mission to educate the public about early American life and material culture," the press release stated.
