Assault Rifles Seized During Traffic Stop In Old Saybrook: Police
Police seized five illegal assault rifles, multiple high-capacity magazines and ammunition during a traffic stop on Friday night.
OLD SAYBROOK, CT — Old Saybrook Police seized five illegal assault rifles, multiple high-capacity magazines, and ammunition following a stop at Friday night’s Driver Safety Checkpoint.
Police said the stop was initiated after the License Plate Reader alerted that the vehicle was unregistered.
One arrest has been made for multiple felony charges and police said the investigation is ongoing.
