Baby Born Inside Clinton Home, Delivered By Emergency Crews
Emergency crews made a special delivery inside a Clinton home early Wednesday morning.

CLINTON, CT — A baby boy who apparently couldn’t wait to enter the world was successfully delivered by emergency crews inside a Clinton home early Wednesday morning. Clinton Police and Fire/EMS crews were dispatched to an emergency maternity call at a home on High Street just before 1 a.m., according to police.
“The first arriving officers, (Ofc. Nick Torino and Ofc. Lorenzo Lombardo) along with the first arriving EMT (Jess Acetta), located a female inside the residence who was actively giving birth upon their arrival,” Clinton Police wrote in a post on Facebook. “All three responders working together were able to successfully deliver a baby boy prior to the arrival of the ambulance/paramedic. Mom and baby were ultimately transported to the hospital and are reported to be doing well!
“We are proud of the professionalism and dedicated service that the men and women of the Clinton Emergency services provide to the residents and visitors to the town of Clinton on a daily basis!!
