Bridge Closure Announced In Clinton

CLINTON, CT — The Waterside Lane Bridge in Clinton will be closed on Thursday, May 3 for repairs, according to town officials.

“Due to the poor weather this spring, we are unable to complete the repairs to the Waterside Lane Bridge,” according to the town website. “In order to allow traffic over the bridge for the summer, it is necessary to perform temporary repairs on Thursday, May 3rd. In order to complete these repairs, it is necessary to close the bridge for the entire day. Barring any complications, the bridge will reopen May 4th in the morning.”
