Calling All Artists Who Create Images of Trees

13th Annual Trees of Connecticut Art Show Coming to Clinton

CLINTON---If you’re an artist, could 13 be your lucky number in 2018?

A great way to find out is by entering one of your paintings, photographs or other artistic depiction of a tree or trees on the Connecticut landscape in the 13th annual Trees of Connecticut Art Show. Artists of all ages and mediums are invited to participate.

Submissions will be received one day only, November 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the library, with a $5 entry fee for the first piece, and just $10 for multiple pieces Works must be ready to hang. Proceeds go to the purchase and planting of trees in Clinton.

Works will be displayed the month of November at the Henry Carter Hull Library, 10 Killingworth Turnpike, in Clinton. Sponsored by the Clinton Tree Committee, the show will include an opening reception at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 3 at the library. Come and meet the artists, see their work, consider voting on Best of Show and buying a piece.
