Car Goes Down Embankment Off I-95 In Old Saybrook

Multiple crews responded to the crash scene, according to fire officials.

OLD SAYBROOK, CT — Emergency crews responded to a crash involving a car that went down an embankment into the woods at the Exit 66 on-ramp on I-95 North in Old Saybrook, according to fire officials.

Fire officials said four ambulances transported ALS (Advanced Life Support), with paramedics, and one BLS (Basic Life Support) ambulance.

“Multiple agencies responded into the scene including Old Saybrook Police and Ambulance, Westbrook Fire and Ambulance, Essex Ambulance, Old Lyme Ambulance, and Clinton Ambulance,” the Old Saybrook Fire Department wrote in a post on Facebook. “Paramedics from Middlesex Health and Madison Ambulance as well as the CT State Police also responded. The CT State Police are investigating the accident.”
