Clinton Athlete To Be Honored In Local Hall Of Fame
Current SCSU volleyball coach Lisa Barbaro was a three-sport star.
NEW HAVEN, CT - Southern Connecticut State University volleyball coach Lisa Barbaro is the latest addition to the New Haven Tap-Off Club's Basketball Hall of Fame. Barbaro was a Clinton scholastic athlete who played on six state championship teams in basketball, volleyball and softball. She was also a two-time New Haven Register Athlete of the year and played in all-state and first-team all-conference for all three sports in 1995-96.
A formal induction ceremony for Barbaro will be Wednesday November 8 at Amarante's Sea Cliff in New Haven.
