Clinton Chamber Of Commerce Announces Awards
The chamber will be honoring outstanding businesses.

CLINTON, CT — The Clinton Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the award recipients to be honored at the 39th Annual Awards Dinner on Tuesday, October 15, 2019.
The Best Foot Forward Award recognizes a business that has made the most significant improvements to property and beautification and this year there are two recipients: Walker Loden and MJM Builders of Connecticut.

The Award of Distinction for Public Service will be presented to Liz and Paul Egan. This award is presented to a member of the community who has demonstrated outstanding and unselfish service.
The Business to Community Partnership Award is given to a business in recognition of hands-on, in-kind and dedicated support of the community. This year’s recipient is Laura Attanasio and Kidz Konnection Shoreline Theater.

The Growing the Community Award is presented to a local person or business who always strives to help the community be the best it can be. This year’s very deserving recipient is John Allen.
A special award will be given to two individuals who have provided exceptional community service, broadened education and outreach of their services, offered community involvement by promoting volunteerism and shown overall positive contributions to the Clinton area. The Civic Award will be presented to Bruce and Susan Kelly.
The Chamber will also be recognizing Pete Snelgrove of Technique Printers for over a Decade of Service to the Clinton Chamber Board of Directors.
In conjunction with the chamber awards, The Clinton Board of Education will present their acknowledgement for Business of the Year to Take Aim Photography.
The Annual Awards Dinner will be held at the Clinton Country Club, 128 Old Post Road, Clinton on Tuesday, October 15th. A networking hour with hors d’oeuvres and cash bar starts off the evening at 5:30 pm, followed by a dinner buffet at 6:30 pm. The Awards Dinner is open to the public and tickets can be purchased for $45 each through the Clinton Chamber of Commerce at 860-669-3889
