Clinton Daughter Celebrates Mother’s Day With ‘Twin’ Mom
Help us celebrate Mother's Day 2018 by sending in your mother-daughter lookalike photo.

CLINTON, CT — Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 this weekend, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across Connecticut to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.
It doesn't matter how old the kids are, they'll always be your babies! And part of the fun of motherhood is watching your children grow up and enjoy the same things that you love.
In Clinton, Savannah Shafman shares a photo of her with her mother Kristen. Savannah says in an email, “My mom has 8 kids total! I’m her first born and I’m 20 years old, and she is 40. We look so much alike that people call us twins. My mom and I have a special bond and always know what each other is thinking. She is the most giving, wonderful, beautiful and selfless person out there. When money is tight she still finds a way to put food on the table and pay to have a roof over our heads. I’m so grateful!”
