Clinton Democrats Support Democratic Process
Multiple Delegations Attend Nominating Conventions
CLINTON---Spring is the season for planting seeds and nominating candidates….both efforts we hope will result in a successful autumn harvest.
Delegations of Clinton Democrats have been traveling the month of May to various conventions, meeting Democrats from other towns who join in nominating one or more candidates for election to public office. Candidates nominated now will appear on the ballot in September, if there is a primary, and in November if they are unopposed or win the primary.
A dedicated delegation of Clinton Democrats put their beliefs into practice May 14, when they joined other Determined Dems from around the state, at the 2108 Democratic 2nd Congressional District Convention in Willimantic.
