Clinton PBA Announces Scholarship Winners

From Clinton Police: The Clinton PBA has announced the scholarship winners for the “Clinton PBA Officer Chet Harris Memorial Scholarship” for the school year 2016-2017.

The winners are 2017 Morgan School graduates, Class President Marcus McDermott, who will be attending Hofstra University in the fall; and Student Body Vice President Matthew Capece, who will be attending the University of Connecticut (Avery Point) in the fall.

Both recipients received a $1,000. Scholarship from the Clinton Police Benevolent Association in the memory of former Clinton Police officer and Connecticut State Trooper and Clinton town resident Chester “Chet “ Harris.
