Clinton Police Participating In Shoreline Diaper Drive

Clinton, Branford, Guilford, Madison and State Police are working together to collect diapers and wipes for families in need.

CLINTON, CT — The Clinton, Branford, Guilford and Madison police departments, along with Connecticut State Police Troop ‘F’ in Westbrook, announced their second Shoreline Diaper Drive Thursday morning in Clinton. The departments will be working in a "collaborative partnership with the charitable organization Bare Necessities to collect diapers and wipes for families in need" living in the shoreline communities.

“Helping to provide these basic hygiene items promotes better health for both infants, children and their families,” police said in a press release.

The drive will be held from Feb. 1 to Feb. 16, during which time anyone can drop off diapers and/or baby wipes at their local police department’s lobby. Westbrook residents can drop off diapers at the Town Hall or the State Police Barracks on Spencer Plains Road.
