Clinton Residents Encouraged To Put Absentee Ballots For Primary In Town Hall Drop Box

As many of you know, there was a delay in the sending of the Absentee Ballots from the clearinghouse the Secretary of States office has hired. You should be receiving them today or tomorrow.

Due to the U.S. Mail postal systems lack of capacity to handle the influx of Absentee Ballots, we are encouraging you to use the drop box located in front of our town hall. This ballot box is a recognized return mechanism by our Judicial System in CT.

This will help us process all ballots quickly and efficiently.
