I-95 In Old Saybrook Reopens After Fatal Crash: UPDATE
A portion of I-95 remains closed after a crash that involved a box truck and a tractor-trailer.
OLD SAYBROOK, CT —One person was killed in a crash that closed a portion of I-95 South in Old Saybrook, state police told FOX 61 in an update. I-95 South in Old Saybrook reopened shortly after 4 p.m. I-95 South had been closed between Exits 68 and 67 for several hours due to an accident involving a box truck and a tractor-trailer that occurred at Tuesday morning.
(Original post) OLD SAYBROOK, CT — A portion of I-95 South in Old Saybrook is closed due to a serious accident, according to officials. I-95 South is closed between Exits 68 and 67 because of an accident involving a box truck and a tractor-trailer. State Police say a serious injury was reported in the accident.
The left lane of I-95 North between Exits 67 and 69 is also closed due to the accident, according to the state DOT.
