Firefighters Rescue Dog From Swamp In Old Saybrook

OLD SAYBROOK, CT — Firefighters rescued a dog that was stuck in the middle of a swamp in Old Saybrook over the weekend. Firefighters began searching for the dog after residents heard it crying out on Saturday morning.
The dog was found stuck in the underbrush in the middle of a swamp. Fire officials say chainsaws and other equipment were needed for firefighters to get to the dog and free it from the brush. The dog was reunited with its owner, according to officials.
